| THE PROGRAM |
The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program is a graduate degree program designed to meet professional needs with the broad purpose of developing qualified personnel and public managers, strenghtening executive leadership and raising standards of administrative performance in the public service. It seeks to provide researchers and students with the knowledge, values and skills to carry out one's role in government and the understanding of broad issues such as democratic participation, sustainable development, politics and society, empowerment, eceonomics and impact of policies on environment and social equity - all of which comprise the manager's task in the government needed for the analysis and effective implementation of public policies in a developing country. |
